PROGRAM FOR THE EDUCATION AND ENRICHMENT OF RELATIONSHIP SKILLS (PEERS)

PEERS is an evidence-based, social skills intervention program for motivated adults who are interested in learning ways to help them make and keep friends. During each group session, young adults are taught important skills and are given the opportunity to practice these skills in session during socialization activities.

The 2021 PEERS group will start the week of April 5th and run until the end of July. There are 2 groups that run simultaneously. One for the young adult and one for a social coach of their choosing (usually this is a parent or sibling). The social coach group will run Wednesday evening from 7:30-9 and the young adult group will run on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30.
